This version does however have the film grain removed so if you are a fan of the more gritty look you're probably best sticking with the original release. The colours really pop on my OLED screen, far more than the original bluray and looks far cleaner due to the added sharpness. Final file is a 22GB HEVC Matroska with both Japanese and English audio. Converted frames were then colour and contrast tweaked. Original movie frames were dumped and converted to 3840x2176 (maintaining aspect ratio) using waifu2x with level 3 de-noise.
